Hi everyone. Here's an update on all the recent happenings in the Denver Fair
Food Campaign:
About 30 individuals from a
number of different community, student, faith and labor organizations came out
for a high energy, lunch time protest on Monday at the Burger King at the busy
intersection of Colfax and Kalamath in downtown Denver across the Street from
Auraria campus.

Shortly before the BK protest, a delegation of six individuals from prominent
Denver-area student, labor, immigrant rights, anti-human
trafficking/anti-slavery and social justice organizations went to Chipotle
headquarters in downtown Denver to give the "fast-casual" restaruant chain one
more chance to work with the CIW to address the human rights crisis faced by
farmworkers before the people of Denver intensify our campaign against
it. The delegation brought with them the letter written by the Alliance
for Fair Food and signed by dozens of Colorado organizations that challenges
Chipotle's poor reaction to this important issue thus far. Unfortunately,
Chipotle once again chose a poor reaction, refusing to meet with the delegation
or to set up a meeting in the future. So we'll go ahead with our
intensification of the campaign.

A location has been set for the Chipotle campaign launch:

Saturday, December 1st, 11:00am

Rally at:
Market Street Station
16th St. and Market

Followed by protest at:
Chipotle Mexican Grill
16th St and Blake
(across the street from the Market Street Station)

See you there!
Flier, updated action alert, coming soon! Help spread the word!

Thanks -Robert, 505-980-4220
