[EmergingFutures-announcements] Gatherings to pay attention to

So, anyway ... I am waiting for a list-cop to point out to us that we'd do
better having discussion on these matters on the "Discussion" list, but I am
sure gratified to see the wide range of people involved here, and the talent
across the network-both for the events I pointed out and for connection to
the IndyMedia movement!

I dont have further details on the event(s) in question than what is
provided on the link, but from the perspective of strategically advancing
NPO/Open Source technologies, I think it is important for (at least a
significant subset of) us to be engaged there.

A strategic alignment of such efforts is largely what I view the Tech Node
to be about facilitating. Gerry Gleason and I are charged with advancing
that cause, and I invite all who are interested in such issues to indicate
to me off-list.

Regards,

MM
