[EFN-Collaboration] Hello

The money was given to the EFN Board of Trustees by Omidyar Network - I 
don't remember the balance. ($12,500.00?) The funds were awarded based 
on discussions on O.net about how we get existing organizations to look 
up from what they are doing to see how that fits in with what others are 
doing. Neither Julie nor Laure participated in those discussion - and 
perhaps that led to the inability of the trustees to reach consensus.

Julie, I join with Michael in saying that I cannot approve the use of 
the funds that you propose. Michael is currently working with Catalytic 
Communities - and their mission is much closer to the purpose for which 
the funds were awarded.
