Dear All,

Tonight at 7:30 pm, Harvard
University workers will participate in a panel discussion on
discrimination in employment at the world's richest university. You're
invited! Hear from workers who perform such essential tasks as
delivering mail, serving students food, and maintaining Harvard's
properties, and who have been disciplined and/or terminated for
discriminatory reasons. The event is being organized by a coalition
of students and workers at Harvard, who are deeply disturbed by
consistent and credible reports of discrimination on the basis of race,
gender, age, country of origin, sexual preference, and ability. Such discrimination not only harms the workers who
are directly affected, but also creates an unsafe environment for all
workers, students, and members of the wider community. Learn
how you can help hold Harvard accountable for the treatment of those who
make the university function. The discussion will take place at the
Democracy Center, 45 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge (steps from the
Harvard Square Red Line MBTA station). The Facebook event is here. Please forward this message as widely as possible.

In Solidarity,

Geoff
