Tomorrow (Thursday, 8/20), starting at 12 noon, workers, students & community members will picket
in support of a woman of color with a disability, under attack by the
world's richest university. Please join us! We'll meet in front of the Smith Campus Center at 1350 Mass. Ave., Cambridge (Harvard Sq T, next to Au Bon Pain).

Background: After
she took a disability leave, Harvard employee Patricia was hit with
unfair production quotas and work rules, then slammed with verbal and
written threats of termination. The only African American in her department, Patricia
endures micro-management and constant criticism, while colleagues
enjoy flexibility and autonomy. Passed over for promotion in favor of a less-qualified, non-disabled white candidate, targeted for speaking out, and set up to be fired, Patricia is suing
Harvard for discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender,
disability, failure to hire and retaliation. She is a dedicated cataloger with 13+ years of service. Let's all rally around
Patricia!
