OCCUPY BOSTON HAS ENDORSED THIS "NO CUTS" RALLY. COME IF YOU CAN!

Join Budget for All, Mass. AFL-CIO, Mass. Jobs with Justice and a dozen
other groups

Emergency Action on the Federal Budget

We paid our taxes.

Why are our services being cut?

Why is the president proposing cuts to Social Security and Medicare?

Budget Cutters in Washington have already slashed Meals on Wheels,
Head Start, Housing, Education, Fuel Assistance, Health Programs,
Unemployment insurance, services to AIDS patients and Health
Research. Many people's jobs are threatened. And now the president
wants to cut Social Security and other key programs that help all of
us. Meanwhile he wants to cancel virtually all cuts to the Pentagon
budget, a war budget bigger than that of the next 10 countries
combined.

Join us on Thursday, May 16 at 12 noon

Location: The Tip O'Neill Federal Building, regional headquarters for
the Social Security Administration and for Housing and Urban
Development. 10 Causeway Street, Boston - North Station T-stop on the
Green Line

  * Stop the Cuts to essential public services

  * Protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid

  * End Corporate Tax Breaks

  * Redirect Pentagon Spending to Jobs and Vital Programs for people
while leaving Pentagon Spending at unsustainable levels.

After we rally at the Tip O'Neill Federal Building, we will briefly
visit Bank of America, Citibank and Verizon at 6 Bowdoin Square in
Boston. We will protest the numerous tax breaks given to huge
corporations and the role these 3 corporations play in imposing an
austerity budget on us and our country.
