Dear all,

I'm writing to you today to seek some support for Haymarket Books and the
Center for Economic Research & Social Change. I know a bunch of progressive
friends & family have made donations to organizations like the ACLU and
Southern Poverty Law Center in recent weeks given the election of Donald
Trump.

*But in order to defeat the right and fight for a better world, we don't
just need protest -- we need politics, ideas, and organization. Non-profit
book publisher Haymarket Books is making an essential contribution to all
of these.*

*Today, Haymarket Books is having a #GivingTuesday matching fund
challenge. Please consider donating and helping us spread the word via
twitter, facebook, etc. for a #GivingTuesday matching fund challenge. A
Haymarket Books supporter has offered to match up to $10,000 that Haymarket
Books receives TODAY -- help maximize our impact!*

Here's the link to the Haymarket Blog post: http://www.haymarketbooks.org/

I'm part of the effort to help raise $125,000 for the Center for Economic
Research & Social Change (CERSC) before February. One of their key projects
is Haymarket Books, that put out the Stop Trump reading list recently:

(there are a lot of great books on here, like John Cusack & Arundhati Roy's
new book of essays & conversations, Angela Davis's book on Black Lives
Matter & Palestine solidarity, etc.)

*From books like "From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation" to others
like "Subterranean Fire: A History of Working-Class Radicalism in the
United States" and "Howard Zinn Speaks", CERSC & Haymarket provide crucial
politics and ideas to arm us to fight the right and build the left.*

Please consider donating! Thank you!
Chris
