Hi folks,
We've just merged and tested the latest SQLite 3.7.12.2 source into
SQLCipher core [1]. The changes include:
* 3.7.12.2 SQLite source.
* Add PRAGMA cipher_version to identify the SQLCipher build number
(i.e., 2.0.5 currently).
* Improved error reporting on HMAC validation failure.
* Enable Secure Delete (wipes deleted page contents).
* Detects cipher context issues (error on zero length key).
We've also update the SQLCipher for Android v2 branch to be in sync with
SQLCipher core. A new 2.0.0-RC6 binary package is available here [2].
We anticipate this to be the final release candidate on SQLCipher for
Android.
We expect to release both updates to SQLCipher as well as SQLCipher for
Android on 5/23/2012 barring any blocking issues. Please take a look,
we welcome feedback. Thanks!
