First Night Anti-War / New Years Day Vigil

FIRST NIGHT ANTI-WAR RALLY (Dec 31st)

At the last SAA, we decided to make banners & signs to carry at the
end (and maybe in the middle of!?!) the First Night Parade.

So come to Community Church (565 Boylston St) Mon Dec 30th at 2pm to
make signs/banners, and gather to go to the Anti-War Rally in Copley
Square starting at 3pm.  You're invited to the Church too, which will
be having snacks and karaoke and be a warming station for good friends
united in social justice work.



VIGIL TO PROTEST DELHI RAPE AND VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN (Jan 1st)

When - 5PM Tuesday Jan 1 2013
Where - Harvard Square Pit - Behind Redline T-Station Cambridge MA

Please join us for a candle-light vigil in memory of the student in
Delhi, India who succumbed to injuries and trauma sustained during the
rape attack on her on Dec 16 2012. We will also be assembling to
express our stand against all forms of violence against women -
whether by patriarchal attitudes, social hierarchies and institutions
or by the state and its instruments.
